Mindset Tools

Because the biggest shifts start in your own head.

Your thoughts aren’t always telling you the truth — but they are telling you a story.
These mindset tools are here to help you edit that story, gently and powerfully.
They’re not about toxic positivity or bypassing real struggle.
They’re about awareness, language, and making space for a better internal narrative. Because when your thoughts shift… your world does too.
The Reframe Sheet
A printable worksheet with two columns:
  • Left: What I’m currently thinking
  • Right: A kinder/more honest version that’s still true
Example: “I’m behind.” → “I’m moving at the pace I can sustain — and that’s valid.”
“If This Were a Friend”
Write what you’d say to a friend in your situation.
Then read it out loud to yourself. Printable version includes:
  • Space to describe the issue
  • “If this were a friend I loved, I would tell her…”
  • “Now, read this back to yourself. How does that feel?”
The Shitty First Thought Tracker
Yes, you’re allowed to have your first instinct be crappy.
This tool gives space to acknowledge it and shift gently. Page sections:
  • My automatic thought
  • Why it showed up
  • What else might be true
  • What I want to believe instead
The Enough List
Instead of a to-do list, write down what you did enough of today. Printable includes:
  • I was kind enough
  • I moved enough
  • I rested enough
  • I tried hard enough
  • I’m enough
Sticky Words Worksheet
Identify words or phrases that trigger shame, pressure, or spirals.
Then brainstorm what you’d rather hear. Example:
  • “Should” → “Could”
  • “Behind” → “Becoming”
  • “Lazy” → “Resting”
"What’s Actually True?"
Sometimes, the stories we tell ourselves are way meaner than reality.
This tool helps untangle the drama from the truth — gently. Page sections:
  • What I’m telling myself right now
  • How that story makes me feel
  • What’s actually true (based on facts, not fear)
Example:
  • “I’m failing at everything.”
  • → “I’m overwhelmed and tired. That’s not the same as failing.”
  • → “I need rest, not punishment.”
