Optional: Include a photo or song lyrics that define this season.

3. The Soundtrack of Me

Build a playlist called “Main Character Energy” using only songs that make you feel like yourself.

4. The One-Color Photo Walk

Pick one color. Go for a walk and photograph only things in that color.
Post or print your faves in a mini collage.

Write 3 true things that happened to you this week. Now rewrite one of them as if it were the opening scene of a novel.

6. Junk Drawer Poetry

Write a poem using only words/phrases inspired by the stuff in your junk drawer or purse.
It can be silly, sappy, or savage.

7. The Tiny Joy List

Bonus: Try to recreate one today.

8. Messy Middle Collage

Create a physical or digital collage that represents where you are right now — not where you wish you were.

9. Mirror Message Monday

Every Monday, write a new post-it note mantra to stick to your mirror.
Use one of your Mirror Mantras or make your own!

10. One Photo, Five Stories

Choose one photo from your phone. Write five different stories or captions it could tell.

📸 Share Your Magic

If one of these challenges sparked something in you — a laugh, a tear, a “holy sh*t I forgot I loved doing this” moment — we’d love to see it. Snap a photo, write a post, or share your thoughts on social and tag it:

#MidlifeMagicChallenge

We follow the hashtag and might even feature your brilliance (with your blessing, of course).
You never know who might need exactly what you created. 💖

There’s no grade. No deadline. No pressure to be “good at it.”
These challenges are here to help you remember that play is productive — and creativity is a form of healing, joy, and rebellion.
